On the morning of June 18, 2024, Wang Zhongming, general director of BGA & AMBA International Accerditation Association in China and senior professor of liberal arts of Zhejiang University, was invited to the Business School to guide the BGA international accerditation work. Fu Shilun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Business School, He Yurun, Dean of the Business School, Zhao Chuan, Deputy Dean, Liu Hong, Deputy Dean, Xu Xiaofang, Deputy Dean, Qiu Yong, all the staff of the International Accreditation Center of the Business School, the person in charge of the model course, and the staff of the MBA Center attended the meeting.

Mr. Fu expressed his warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to Professor Wang Zhongming, and briefly introduced the development of the Business School and the importance of BGA international accreditation. He emphasized that BGA accerditation is an important opportunity for the business school to improve teaching quality and strengthen international exchanges, and is also an important step for the school to move toward internationalization.

Subsequently, Professor Wang Zhongming and the participating teachers of the business school had an in-depth discussion on the writing of the BGA accerditation report. He explained the core requirements of the accerditation report in detail, and made specific suggestions on the structure, content and presentation of the report. He stressed that the accerditation report should fully demonstrate the teaching characteristics of the Business School, the strength of teachers and the results of international education. Professor Wang also put forward specific suggestions on the next work arrangement and key nodes of the accerditation report.

In terms of model course construction, Professor Wang Zhongming and business school teachers jointly discussed how to combine BGA accerditation standards to create courses with international vision and characteristics. He proposed that the model course should emphasize practicality and innovation, focus on cultivating students' critical thinking and cross-cultural communication skills, and strengthen the deep integration of ESG concept, responsibility management, sustainable development and other concepts into the course to improve the quality of the course.

Next, Professor Wang Zhongming personally signed a book for MBA students who participated in the "Management Psychology" course, and encouraged everyone to integrate the thought of sustainable development and responsible management into their life and work in the future. Professor Wang Zhongming also visited the school's baseroom and made pertinent suggestions on the design and facilities of baseroom.

Finally, He Yurun summarized the meeting, pointing out that the visit of Professor Wang Zhongming provided important guidance and support for the BGA gold accerditation work of the business school. The Business School will further practice the concept of green, responsible and sustainable management, focus on discipline construction and curriculum optimization, and continuously improve teaching quality and international education level, so as to contribute to cultivating more high-quality talents with international vision and innovative ability.
